Product Description

Neodymium-doped yttrium vanadate (Nd: YVO4) crystal is an excellent laser crystal , suitable for the manufacture of laser diode pumped especially in low-power lasers. And Nd: YAG compared to Nd: YVO4 the pumping light has a higher absorption coefficient and a larger stimulated emission cross section. Laser diode-pumped Nd: YVO4 crystal and crystal LBO, BBO, KTP used in conjunction with high nonlinear coefficient , can achieve better harmonic conversion efficiency , the output can be made near-infrared , green , blue to ultraviolet light and other types of the all- solid-state lasers. Now Nd: YVO4 lasers have been widely used in many fields of mechanical , material processing, spectroscopy, wafer inspection , monitors, medical testing , laser printing, data storage and so on. And Nd: YVO4 diode-pumped solid-state lasers are rapidly replacing traditional lamp-pumped laser and water-cooled ion laser market , especially in smaller and single- longitudinal-mode output side .


Nd: YVO4 and Nd: YAG comparative advantages:
At around 808nm pump bandwidth is approximately Nd: 5 times of YAG .
In 1064nm stimulated emission cross section at a Nd: 3 times of YAG
Optical damage threshold low, high slope efficiency
