Optical Grade MgO:LiNbO3(MgO:LN) Wafer

Some applications of pure LN crystal are limited by its relative low optical damage threshold. While when doped with 5mol% magnesium oxide, MgO:LN crystal shows 1-2 orders of magnitude increase in optical damage threshold, coercive field for domain reversal also decreases from 21KV/mm to 6KV/mm below, UV-absorption edge position shifts to 310nm and OH-infrared absorption peak to 3535cm-1,which greatly develops the application of LN crystal.

We can provide MgO:LN crystal wafers, crystal blocks and bars with various specifications. Crystal defects and distributions of refractive index are strictly examined.
